Mission

Tablesetters mission is to connect individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and community organizations to the relationships, resources, and the coordinated support they need to thrive. Through educational development, workforce training, entrepreneurial support, capital access, organizational capacity building, and community resource navigation. We deliver community, coaching, and content that help people move from learning to earning, to start returning. Building and sustaining long-term stability and generational opportunity.

We envision communities where families are equipped to learn, individuals can access meaningful careers, entrepreneurs can build sustainable businesses, and community organizations have the capacity to scale their impact. We aim to build a future where opportunity and prosperity are broadly shared, and every neighborhood has the infrastructure, relationships, and resources needed to thrive across generations.

Who We Are

Tablesetters is a movement already in motion. We are a collective of multi-disciplinary executives who have made the decision to make a significant return on investment in Tulsa. We decided to create a community change engine that allows residents to drive transformation rather than simply observing it. We work to build systems that support entrepreneurship, educational impact, workforce development, capital access, and community investment.

Our work is guided by the belief that sustainable opportunity requires more than programs. It requires advocacy, sponsorship, and the right relationships that allow individuals and communities to grow and thrive.

The Problem Is Structural. Not Personal.

We have discovered that three crucial gaps compound across generations in Tulsa and beyond. They are the exposure gap, the opportunity gap and the wealth gap. The Exposure Gap feeds the Opportunity Gap. The Opportunity Gap widens, The Wealth Gap. The Wealth Gap continues to grow to insurmountable levels. Each one fuels the next. Closing these gaps requires sequence, structure and intentionality.

The Exposure Gap

Example: 43% of Oklahoma adults read below a 7th-grade level.


The Opportunity Gap

Example: Tulsa's equality score: 42.37/100. Black men in North Tulsa earn $13K where white men in the same zip code earn $34K.

The Wealth Gap

Example: $8,000 vs. $145,000 median net worth, Black vs. white households. Six cents on the dollar. A 38-point homeownership gap.

Capital Readiness prepares entrepreneurs and organizations for investment by building their financial foundations and strategic capacity. The program ensures communities are fully optimized to successfully capture and deploy funding from capital partners & mission-driven lenders.

The Back Office

Building institutional capacity and sustainability.
The Back Office provides operational and administrative support that helps entrepreneurs and organizations focus on growth. Services may include systems development, administrative infrastructure, operational strategy, and organizational support.

Pathways and Pivot Points

Pathways and Pivot Points is a workforce development accelerator that supports individuals navigating career transitions, entrepreneurship journeys, or new opportunities. The program provides coaching, mentorship, and strategic guidance to help participants identify their next steps and move forward with confidence.
